About the Department

Physical Education department was established in the year 2004 as a general or pass subject. A good numbers of students admitted in physical education subject in our Mission Mahavidyalaya. Physical Education is the instructions in the development and care of the body ranging from simple calisthenics exercises to a course of study providing training in Athletics, gymnastics etc. and the performance and management of different games and sports; also physical, mental, intellectual, emotional, social development as well as cognitive development.

Physical Education Department always try to offer friendly environment in teaching learning process as well as practical and Games and Sports participation.  Except the traditional chalk and talk method, department arrange group discussion, tutorial classes etc. and also arranged another method of teaching like ICT  and Multi-media.

The Physical Education department used to publish wall magazine “Kriralok” regularly. Our students are also participating in NCC, NSS, cultural activities etc. We have also “Mentor-Mentee” group by which students can share their personal problems doubt, giving assistance for higher education and guidance of research etc.
