In an area where majority of the population belongs to the lower strata of the society, engaging in a full-time regular course for pursuing higher education becomes a luxury. Identifying this gap, Vivekananda Mission Mahavidyalaya Study Center (VMM STUDY CENTER) (I-03) was enlisted in year 2007 approved by UGC (University Grants Commission), DEB (Distance Education Bureau) & affiliated by Netaji Subhas Open University Distance Education-NSOUDE to offer both under-graduation as well as post-graduation courses in the distance learning mode. The mission of this Study Center is to add more educated individuals to the society who can stand on the same scaffold with other universities of eminence. Over the years, a large number of learners have obtained their degree from this study center. The Study Center remains open on Saturdays and Sundays.
