Cultural Activities
Cultural activities bring out the creative side of the students and enhance cultural awareness among them. They have the best learning experience when they organize and participate in such activities. Their confidence is boosted through increased sense of responsibility, coordination, leadership, time management, fighting stage fright and interaction with students across all departments of the college. Encouraging students to participate in cultural activities is the most effective way to inculcate personality-related skills. These include activities like dancing, singing, sports, etc. However, the truth is entirely different as cultural activities enable students to gain confidence and understand their culture in a much better way.
The college has a very strong cultural environment that encourages the students to conduct cultural programmes during various occasions. The institution is proud of its talented students who attain prestigious positions in inter-college cultural competitions.
Some of the important cultural activities of our college are:
- Observation of special days of both national and international importance (Swamiji’s birthday celebration, Independence Day, Bhasha Divas, World AIDS day, World Environment Day etc. to name a few)
